We’ve all been affected by recent events, but our communities remain strong. During the Coronavirus crisis, our local businesses stepped up. Many of them remained open, providing support to our community - often at great personal risk.
When we needed our local businesses, they were there for us.
Now, in a time of economic uncertainty, it’s them who need us. - we must not abandon them. As vital to our success across Islwyn as any large multinational, it’s our local businesses who will be worst hit in the aftermath of the crisis.
That’s why I call on you to shop locally whenever you can.
Even a few pound a week can help many of our local businesses put food on the table this Christmas. So when you go out and do your shopping, please remember to shop local.
